    and depth!

The Key of Drawing in Perspective
  • Horizon line
  • Vertical Line
  • Diagonal Line
  • Vanishing Point
  • One Point Perspective
  • Two Point Perspective

The Horizon line
  • This line divides the piece of art. Creating the
    sky and land or water.
  • The vanishing point will be placed somewhere on
    the horizon line.
  • The placement of the horizon line will determine
    the distance or space of the art.

The Vertical Line
  • The vertical line always be perpendicular with
    the horizon line.
  • Remember to draw lightly so that you will not
    confuse yourself while you are drawing.

The Diagonal Line
  • This line will always go towards the vanishing
    point.
  • Again draw lightly so that you do not become
    confused with the lines that are on your paper.
  • Remember that your diagonal lines should become
    smaller the closer you are to the horizon line.

The Vanishing Point
  • The vanishing point may be placed on either side
    of the line or in the center.
  • Remember that all diagonal lines will go towards
    the vanishing point.
