- Facilitate and expedite the commercial
availability of software components that work
together to provide an EP wide Application
Portfolio
- establishing, in a timely manner,an
implementation of an Application Integration
Platform which is commercially available through
an EP-neutral organisation,
- promoting the adoption of that platform by
independent software vendors for the development
of interoperating application modules for use
within the oil industry.
3Shell (EPT and OU) commitments
- Shell is committed to
- contribute, for a three year period, to
OpenSpirit developments in infrastructure and
business objects - use OpenSpirit for re-engineering the EPT
portfolio - replace their current applications by equivalent
OpenSpirit-enabled versions soon after these
become available from EPT and the vendors
