• A. When working with concrete materials (after
  mixed), safety glasses and proper tools for each
  job should be used.
• B. Gloves should be worn to protect the students
  hands when using certain tools.

Important procedures to observe when using
concrete hand tools.

• A. Follow instructors guidelines before using
  the tools.
• B. Check each tool before using and select the
  proper tool.
• C. Be sure all concrete hand tools are properly
  cleaned after use.
• D. Store tools properly after use (Note Oil
  trowels with form oil)
• E. Report any cuts, bruises, or accidents and
  also any broken or damaged tools to the
  instructor.
