• Improve visibility

• Prevent damage to open door when arms/bucket
  lifted

Design 1 Two Door Scheme

• Advantages
• provides clearance for bucket to raise
• easier to exit
• Disadvantages
• impairs visibility
• more complex requires two of everything

Design 2 Door Rotates Upward To Open

• Advantages
• Aesthetically appealing.
• Increased range of motion for bucket when door is
  open.
• Disadvantages
• Less head room to climb into cab.

Design 3 Hydraulically Controlled Door Opener

• Advantages
• Protects door from arms/bucket.
• Easy to open door.
• Disadvantages
• Complicated and expensive to install.
• Safety door closing on operator.

• Increased visibility.
• Sleeker door aesthetically.
• Disadvantages
• Door panel further protrudes into cab, reduced
  leg room for operator.

  ideas.
