The Lincolnshire Physical Activity Health
Network seeks to bring together key agencies and
individuals to support, learn and be advocates
for the development of physical activity, within
the context of sport and health gain. The
steering group of the Network provides a means
for focus, planning and impetus of the
Networks initiatives. It acts as the
accountable group for the Network.

Purpose The purpose of the Network is to seek
support from public and voluntary sector services
to promote health lifestyles in Lincolnshire,
increase the populations participation in sport
and to value physical activity.

- The co-ordination of the Network will take
place through the Lincolnshire Sports
Partnership. The work of the Network will be
managed through the Lincolnshire Sports
Partnerships corporate processes.

- Style and Administration of the Network
- Network meetings will take place twice a year and
take the form of a conference / workshops. The
steering group will meet four times a year to
co-ordinate actions and will be business
meetings. - If the need for task finish sub-groups arise,
the decision for that will be made by the
steering group. - Administration support will be provided for the
steering group and the Network by the Public
Health team, Lincolnshire Teaching Primary Care
Trust.
