Whats it About?

• Individuals have the right vocational high level
  skills to be employable and personally fulfilled
• Employers have the right vocational high level
  skills to support the success of their businesses
• Universities colleges play their part in making
  this happen

the speed of change in modern capitalism has
heightened insecurity, for businesses as well as
for individuals. It means that what worked last
year may not be good enough this year, that last
years project is now a yellowing file, that
those in authority quickly become yesterdays
people, that it is impossible to plan too far
ahead or to know who or what to rely on. Not
everything changes for the better. That may be
exciting for the young and competent, but for
most people it is just uncomfortable and
worrying. Economic growth means that we travel
further and faster and linger less, have less
time to stand and stare or to care for our
