2The Catcher
3 I still have the scar which left lots of
memories.
4 As I run around nervously and anxiously, I
try to find a decent, yet unthought-of place to
hide. It is too late to turn back they are
coming for us now.
5 Here I sit, in this uncomfortable, atrocious
place, hiding. I curiously wonder when and if
they are going to find me. Nervously, I wait and
ponder about what I should do. Should I run,
knowing that I would be risking myself and being
captured? Here I go I am going for it.
6 Im running as fast as I can my heart is
racing. I look around me there are other people
trying to get away, too.
7 Suddenly, the one person I do not want to
find, spots me and is running toward me like a
cheetah running after its prey.
8 I try to get to the one spot where I know I
will be safe. Unexpectedly, that one person
pushes me down. I fall to the hard, unpleasant
surface. I fall and cut my leg on the
rough-edged rock.
9 Now that I am It, I guess I have to go
count. Ready or not Here I come!
