• Introduction
• The focus of this project is a standardised
  ontology for the conservation, management and
  reuse of marine habitat knowledge. An ontology
  is the study of the categories of things that
  exist or may exist in some domain. An example of
  this is the MESH¹ (Mapping European Seabed
  Habitats) project.

  multi-level hierarchical tool and techniques that
  scientists can use at different levels of detail.
