We are now in 2070. I am 50 years old, but I
look like being 85. I have a lot of problems
because I dont drink enough water. I think I
will die soon. Today I am one of the oldest
person in our society.

I remember when I was 5 years old.
Everuthing was different.
In the parks there were many trees,near the
houses there were beautiful gardens and I could
stay under the shower even for an hour.
Nowoadays we use for our cleaning towels with
mineral oil.

Before, all the women were proud to show their
beautiful hair.
Nowadays they have to shave their head in order
to keep it clean without using water
Before, my dad washed the car using the aspersing
flexible tube. Nowadays these practiced are
strictly forbidden by laws.

I remember that existed many plated that had the
following txt written ATTENTION TO THE WATER,
and nobody was consider them. People thought that
water is unexhaustable.
Nowadays, all the rivers, lakes and subterranean
waters are irremediably contaminated and empty.

The whole surrounding landscape is an endless
desert.
The gastro-intestinal infections, the skin
diseases and the urinary infections are the main
cause of decease.

The industry was paralized and the rate of
unmployment reached dramatic dimensions. The
factories for removing salt in the water are the
main production field. They give to the workers
drinking water instead of salary.

The attacks for a can of water are very common on
the desert roads.
The food is 80 syntetic.

Before, it was reccommended to drink 8 glasss of
water daily. Today I have only the right to
drink a half of glass.

We throw off our clothes at the dump because we
cant wash them. This make increase the mountains
of dump that are already huge. We use closets
like in the past century, because the subterrain
draining systems cant work without water.

People stay face-to-face with the terror their
bodies are asthenic, winkled because of the
dehydratation, hurt by the infrared radiation
unfiltred by the atmosphere due to the hole of
ozone

Because of the dehydratation of the skin, a woman
of 20 years old look like a woman of 40.
 The scientists research but they dont see any
solution at the horizon. We are not able to
produce water.
The oxygen concentration decreased because of
the lack of vegetation. That lead to decreasing
the intellectual capacities of the new
generation.

The morphology of spermatooons of many men was
modified...
what led to birth of children-victims, with
mutations and malformations.

The government urges us to pay for the air we
breath 137 m3/person/day.
The people who are not able to pay are expelled
from the airy areas, provided with huge
mechanical installations for breathing that work
with solar energy.
The air is not a good quality, but at least we
can breath.
Life average is about 35 years old.

Several countries succeeded in preserving some
islands of vegetation with clean running water.
These areas are strictly watched by the army.
Water became a rare property, an inestimable
treasure, more precious than the gold and
diamonts.

Here there are not any tree because it almost
never rains. When starts raining, it is an acide
rain.
Tere are no more seasons because of the changes
of the climate (glass house phenomenon) due to
the activities of the people in the XX century,
who poluted the environment.
We had forseen to preserve the envrironment but
nobody did anything for that.

When my daughter asks me to tell her about the
time when I was young, I tell her that the
forests were beautiful.
I tell her about rain, about flowers, about the
pleasure of swimming and fishing in rivers and
trees and of drinking water as much as you wish.
And about the good health of the people.

She asks me
-Dad! Why water doesnt exist anymore?
I feel a lump in my throught.

I cant stop considering myself guilty for
belonging to the generation who finalized the
destruction of the environment, by not
considering the numberless warnings.
I belong to the last generation that could change
the course of events, but decided a different
way.

Today, our children pay too much for that.

I honestly think that life on the earth will not
be possible from now on because the destruction
of the environment reached a point with no
possibility of reurn.

Id like so much to be able to return in older
times and to determine the whole humanity to
understand
... to return to the moment when we could do
something to save our planet!

Please send this letter to all your
acquintances, it will be only a small alert for
awaking the universal awareness. Water must be
saved. It is not a game, it is already our
reality. Do that for your children. If you dont
have kids yet, someday you could have them.
Lets dont let them as a heritage the Hell
Wed let them life!
