- Service Excellence Program
2Service Excellence Program- The University is
committed to achieving sustainable growth in
research and teaching, and excellence in support
services is a key enabler of this growth.- Our
current modes of support service delivery will
soon begin to constrain rather than sustain
further growth.- The University was successful
in receiving a grant of over 3m from the
Commonwealth Government for the program.
3The Service Excellence Program will- Deliver
significant efficiency benefits by reducing the
need for low- level administrative work by
academic staff- Deliver strategic and advisory
services that directly support the capacity and
decision making of the academic and student
community- Enable additional investment in
research and teaching and- Result in knowledge
transfer to University staff about service
delivery in support of the Universitys goals.
4 5Program scope- The University of Adelaide is
committed to a whole-of-institution approach to
this reform program.- More than 1,000 staff are
