  • The document on How to Welcome New RMOs will be
    modified and distributed to the RMOs for comments
    within 60 days from the meeting. (BIPM)
  • Consolidate CIPM MRA documents by category and
    reformat and number the documents according to
    the BIPM internal QS procedures. (Executive
    Secretary)

  • Agenda- Traceability and re-review period of
    CMCs- new RMOs in the JCRB- BIPM quality
    system and publication in BIPM website- QS
    review and assessment overlap- current CMC
    inter-regional reviews- greyed-out CMCs due to
    lack of QS

  • Actions and Resolutions- The RMOs will include
    a chapter on the status of greyed-out CMCs in
    their reports for the 22nd JCRB. - The BIPM will
    consult the CCs on the particular procedures used
    or proposed for the re-review of CMCs and report
    to the next JCRB meeting - Prepare a guideline
    with instructions for the declarations of
    traceability in the CMC submissions.

Resolutions
  • NPLI will propose a scheme to alleviate
    difficulties in CMC review process. .
  • The application of new QS review will be
    considered by TCQS whether the corresponding NMI
    maintains the effective QS for applied CMCs.
  • APMP will propose a new definition of SC.

  • Secretary will send a reminding letter to the
    NBSM of Nepal and the CIM of North Korea for
    their membership fees in arears.
  • TC chairs are to follow the APMP guidelines and
    related JCRB documents when preparing and
    submitting CMCs.
  • WGMM will be extended for two years. NMIJ will
    nominate a candidate of new WGMM chair, who is to
    propose a roadmap for WGMM at the Jakarta GA
    2008.

EC meeting in Jakarta, November 2Actions and

  • EC has reviewed VNIIMs letter which expressed
    its intention to become a full member of APMP. EC
    has agreed that it should recommend to the GA
    that VNIIM be accepted as a full member of APMP.
  • If members have not paid bank transaction fees
    incurred during 2008 or thereafter, when they are
    issued invoices of the next years membership
    fees, any such bank transaction fees will be
    added.

Decisions
  • The proposed new Membership fee structure is
    not going to be submitted to GA for approval in
    2008 considering that the sharp increase of
    membership fee is going to be implemented in
    08/09 fiscal year for the developing economies
    and designated laboratories. EC does not intend
    to propose any further membership fee increase
    before 2010 but EC will review the financial
    situation of APMP every year.

  • Decision EC 41-3 EC will respect the last EC
    meetings Decision EC 40-5 stating that APMPs
    decision whether or not to apply for membership
    of the NCSLIs BoD will be postponed for the near
    future.
