regional and local policies - National governments recognise the contribution
of the local level and provide support.
20Conclusions
- Mitigation and Adaptation should be addressed
simultaneously - Synergy effects help both - There are several synergy measures on the local
level - Adaptation measures are important, however they
depend on parallel mitigation measures.
