The EVN and the current FP5 Access Contract

• European VLBI Network (EVN) is an open,
  world-class astronomical research facility
• Unique in Europe, unrivalled sensitivity,
• Relatively high investment and operating costs,
• 300 Million uro 7 Million uro
  respectively,
• - Funded under FP3, FP4, FP5
• Current contract 1 Jan 2000 29 Feb 2004
• Total award 2.1 Million uro
• Observing hours provided 640 hours
