Where in the world is Micklefield School?
We are a suburb of Cape Town situated at the foot
of Table Mountain near the Atlantic and Indian
Ocean.

Micklefield temperature and precipitation
The weather has been warm during the last few
days with mximum temperatures above 30 degrees C
and minimum temperatures above 10 degrees C.
There has been a small amount of rainfall (up to
5mm) on three days. This is late summer in South
Africa.

How does this compare with other MetLink
locations today?
It was nearly as hot as El Salvador It was not as
cold as Delabole, UK It had less precipitation
than Forest of Teesdale, UK It was less windy
than Dhaka in Bangladesh

It is cloudy but bright and warm with
temperatures up to 27 degrees C. My forecast is
for unsettled weather with a risk of
thunderstorms.

My favourite MetLink location?
I would like to be in Brazil because it looks
warm and sunny. I could go swimming and relax on
the beach.

My worst MetLink location?
I would not like to be in Alaska because it looks
very cold and snowy. I would have to put on warm
clothes and gloves to stop me getting frostbite!
