  • Mentoring is a power-free, two-way, mutually
    beneficial learning situation focused on the
    development and professional growth of a protégé.
    The mentor and the protégé are partners in
    learning. The mentor meets periodically, or as
    needed, with the protégé to provide advice and to
    share knowledge and experiences.
