Introduction
Welcome to Mount Olympus, home of the gods and
goddesses of ancient Greece and Rome. Your world
is in a state of chaos. Many of your fellow
mortals are forgetting about us. Our myths gave
order to the world. They explained many of
nature's phenomenon and provided the ancients
with countless hours of entertainment. Please
help us to recall these myths to your fellow
mortals.

Task

• For this project, you and your partner will be
  researching a Greek god or goddess. You will
  compile your findings into a Power Point
  presentation which will be presented to the
  class.
• First, you will use the Internet and books to
  discover information about your god or goddess.
• You will need to discover
• What your god or goddess is the god of
• What is your gods symbol
• What is your gods origin
• What powers or abilities does your god possess
• What weaknesses/flaws does your god exhibit
• To whom is your god married and do they have any
  children
• What are some important facts about your god
• What evidence do we see today of your god
• Then, incorporate this information into a Power
  Point presentation of 8 to 10 slides.

• Step One Choose a partner
• Step Two Draw for a god or goddess
• Step Three Check what information needs to be
  acquired, and who will do what
• Step Four Go to the library and use the
  computers to begin finding information
• Step Five Design a Power Point presentation to
  teach the class about your god or goddess
• Step Six Present Power Point presentation to
  the class
