3GOALS
Main Goal promoting and supporting womens
active participation in the local economic
development processes
- support the development of common approaches and
quality services in order to promote the skills
and potential of women, especially those living
in alpine areas
- develop a stable co-operation network among the
Resource Centres for Women of the Alpine Space
- develop common approaches, test services and
implement innovative initiatives aimed at
promoting rural womens full participation in
economic and social life
- to provide women with technical assistance and a
quality support to guarantee that they have equal
access to local and regional resources
- promoting co-operation among public and private
local development actors on a gender based
approach.
4EXPECTED RESULTS
Activities at both local and transnational level
are finalised to ensure four essential
conditions, linked to the general expected
results
- 1) the possibility of accessing information
2) the possibility of accessing resources
3) the opportunity to create a real individual
professional development (thus broadening
personal career choices and overcoming
stereotypes and discrimination factors)
4) strong co-operation and gender mainstreaming
actions at institutional and socio-economic level
BENEFICIARIES female population of disadvantaged
alpine space areas and also the system of the
actors involved in local development

- n. 100 public authorities and private actors
involved - n. 60 Resource Centres involved
- n. 200 people involved in training and exchange
activities - n. 600 women participanting in project activities
- n. 10 innovative actions aimed at promoting
womens economic development
