We had some unusual Circumstances that caused a g
reat deal of stress and hardship on our
Points folks as we participated in the USHJA
Affiliate Awards program. I would like to thank a
nd express my most sincere appreciation to all of
The ladies that helped us on this committee this
year, but I have to give A special thanks to Cry
stal Hardy and Maggie Henderson for a superb
Job well done. We will automating our points and
membership process For 2008 which we hope will e
ase the burden of all the points committee

We will be conducting a silent auction at the
awards banquet to raise funds to help OHJA in the
ir 2008 operations. The funds raised will help
to fund scholarships, year end awards and other
association activities. We would like to solicit
all of our members, supporters, barns, tack
shops, trainers, riders and friends of OHJA to c
onsider donating an item or items
to be placed in the silent auction at the
banquet. The person in charge of
the silent auction is Mary Ann Van Curen at

rs.com. Let Mary Ann know what you are donating
so she can have the paperwork prepared and then
you can arrange with her as to whether you will d
eliver the item(s) to the banquet or will get
them to someone to bring for you. Please help

Forums at the Annual Meeting We have two hours
of forums scheduled for the Annual
Meeting. We will cover USEF Rule changes, but we
would like to know what other topics or discussio
ns would you like to have included in the Forum t
