  • These are any efforts to change the environment
    or the curriculum so that students with
    disabilities can achieve success. Accommodations
    should offer the least amount of alterations
    necessary for the student to benefit from the
    instructional environment.

  • Alter the way in which information is presented.
  • Alter the way materials are used
  • Alter the physical environment

Test Modifications Strategies
  • Have another student or teacher read the test to
    the student.
  • Provide additional time.
  • Highlight key words or terms.
  • Reword the test to eliminate confusing
    vocabulary.
  • Use white space to make information less
    confusing.
