NTES and CDM
CDM Emission Reduction programs fall under Clean
Development Methods, as defined by the UN. Only
projects that have been approved by the Un CDM
panel are eligible for CERs. Additionality Only
Emission Reduction Projects that would not be
economically feasible without external financial
support can enjoy the benefit of the
CERs. Carbon Emission Trading Nations or
private companies that have an obligation to
reduce carbon emission, can purchase CERs to
fulfil this obligation.
