  • Cable Routing Design
  • The routing of the CAB to CDD discharge cables is
    still in evolution
  • Avoidance of or protection in EVA zones.
  • Clamping and structural support requirements, as
    defined by NASA.
  • This has added significant complexity to routing,
    as well as weight for support brackets.
  • The cable to CDD interface design, and the
    routing holes in the cover have been modified.
  • New drawings should be available 1 week after all
    routing issues are resolved.

  • Testing
  • QM test requirements have been identified and
    delivered to CSIST.
  • Fasteners for CDD QM and FMs have been sent, due
    at CSIST the week of April 3, 2006. Spares to
    follow 3 to 4 weeks.
  • Test hardware / requirements might have to be
    re-evaluated based upon the cable routing design
    changes.
  • A test plan and schedule will be completed by
    CSIST, and reviewed by ESCG and MIT.
