Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

• Home to polar bears, arctic
• wolf, musk, ox, and caribou.
• Largest and most northerly
• of US 500 refugees.
• Spans 19 million acres
• (about the size of South Carolina).
• Includes 18 major rivers.

ANWR Oil Drilling is Good!

• Create roughly a quarter of a million new jobs
• Make more oil available
• Provide safe and habitable living conditions for
  wildlife

Evidence proving we should drill

• Decrease oil prices, foreign dependency
• Caribou reaches highest population
• Pipelines are built high above ground
• 75 of Alaskans support oil drilling
• Creation of new jobs
• Create oil independence
• Decrease national security threats and need for
  wars
