Technology Improving Life

• Recent advances in technology are solving energy
  problems.
• The hydrogen economy has been boosted by the
  discovery of an environmentally friendly way to
  harvest it, providing many opportunities for the
  use of hydrogen fuel cells.
• Microscopic nanocoatings provide extreme wear
  resistance for engines and other machines and
  reduce overall energy consumption.
• Spray-on cement has been developed to create
  fast, low-cost housing.
• Since I am pursuing a career in electrical
  engineering, a possible application for me could
  be the development, design, and construction of
  the machines that help make these discoveries
  possible.

• I was raised Quaker but am not religious.
• I would like to hold on to many of the
  relationships I made during high school.
• I would like to live comfortably but not
  excessively.
• Ideally, I would like to make a lot of money
  while doing what I like, maybe something in
  electrical engineering.
• I play a lot of sports including soccer,
  baseball, and frisbee.
• I consider myself a democrat and pretty liberal,
  but am not outspoken politically.
