2JIAMD Summit Mission Statement
- The mission of the JIAMD Summit is to establish a
routine forum for improving communications and
collaboration amongst warriors, acquisition
executives, and stakeholder representatives from
academia and industry involved in providing,
improving and operating the Joint Integrated Air
and Missile Defense (JIAMD) Family of Systems.
To accomplish this mission, we will establish
standards of excellence for achieving a more
joint and integrated family of air and missile
defense systems by ensuring that - Â
- A dynamic forum is enabled for all interested
parties to present their unique perspectives
concerning JIAMD issues. - A secure meeting environment is provided to
safeguard classified information. - An effective methodology and data base is
established for identification and tracking of
Summit issues and actions on a continuing basis. - Dissemination of data resulting from the summit
will be effectively organized and equitably
distributed. - Summit policies and procedures will be flexible
and efficient so as to quickly adapt to address
changing requirements. - The vision and solutions of Summit participants
will be rapidly and effectively encapsulated for
immediate presentation to government and industry
leadership. - Our efforts remain focused on achieving rapid and
cost-effective refinement of the JIAMD Family of
Systems infrastructure for the benefit of our
warriors. - The annual JIAMD Summits result in achieving a
truly Joint and Integrated Air and Missile
Defense System. - JIAMD ONE SYSTEM ONE TEAM ONE FIGHT ONE FUTURE

government entities. - Establish standing committees for JIAMD issues
resolution in order to facilitate progress on
Summit Issues between JIAMD Summits. - Establish senior industry and government
leadership invitation processes and ensure
adequate Leadership representation at the Summits
and Hot Wash Debriefs.
