Tower Ink Pan Cleaning Station

• A stainless pan was designed and installed on the
  drive side of the 2nd level of the towers to
  accommodate the cleaning of ink pans. The
  station improves safety by allowing workers to
  clean the pans more efficiently and without
  carrying them down the stairs. The station has
  a hinged lid that doubles as a backsplash when
  opened. The bottom of the pan is sloped towards
  the drain. It is connected to an accumulation
  barrel on the main level via a 3 inch rigid/flex
  hose. The station also improves efficiency by
  requiring the ink be moved only once directly
  into an accumulation barrel whereas the old
  practice required double handling of the waste
