REACT TO UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE (UXO)
-VEHICLE THAT SPOTTED THE UXO WILL STOP. -ALL IN
THE VEHICLE WILL UTILIZE PRE-DESIGNATED HAND AND
ARMY SIGNALS FOR UXO. -ALL VEHICLE WILL STOP AND
TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATIONS
EQUIPMENT. -ALL VEHICLES WILL MOVE A MINIMUM OF
150 METERS AWAY FROM UXO BUT REMAIN WITHIN VERBAL
COMMUNICATION RANGE. -A CALCULATED ATTEMPT WILL
BE MADE TO IDENTIFY THE UXO. -THE UXO WILL BE
MARKED BY ANY AVAILABLE MEANS.
WARNING AT NO TIME
WILL ANYONE TOUCH, DISTURB OR TRY TO DISARM THE
UXO -CONVOY COMMANDER WILL CALL IN A UXO REPORT
TO HIGHER HQ AND AWAIT FOLLOW ON INSTRUCTIONS.
