• 2 x monthly checks in December 05 showed 1780
  staff in 437 schools with CRB forms outstanding
  for over 30 days
• Of these, 61 schools had outstanding checks back
  to 2004 and 2003
• A chasing letter was sent to the 437 schools on 6
  January 06 from SPS, with a deadline of 20
  January 06
• By end of February 42 schools had still not
  responded to the 6 January letter at all
• Why? - what next?
