National capacity self assessment

• Project was approved by Global Environmental
  Facility in June 2004
• Implementing agency is UNDP
• Executing agency is Ministry of environemntal
  protection and physical planning
• Total budget is 179.040 usd, and for Montenegro
  is 62.664 usd
• Duration of project is 18 mounth

• National capacity self assessment is a series of
  activities, in order to identified capacity
  buliding needs for improved global managment at
  the systemic, institutional and individual level.

• NCSA will cover three thematic areas
• Convention on biological diversity
• UN Framework Convention on Climate Change

• UN Convetion to Combat Desertification

• Objectives of the project
• Define capacity bulding and estemate priority
  needs
• Develop a Strategic Action Plan

• Benefits of the project
• Action plan is a strategicplanning tool
  development and adopted by all stakeholders
• Actioni plan would enable to improved planning of
  the countries actions in three thematic areas
• Action plan would facilate the dialog with
  potential dononors
