Introduction
  • Portals provide consumers with personalized
    points of entry (or gateways) to a wide variety
    of information on the Intranet and Internet,e.g
    Yahoo,Netscape,etc. In 1998, used for the first
    time that portal for enterprisescoining the
    term "Enterprise Information Portal" (EIP). It
    is also called Corporate Portal or Enterprise
    Portal.
