  • -Ritalin (methylphenidate), Adderall
    (dextroamphetamine)
  • -70-80 of kids with ADHD have significant
    improvement in symptoms
  • -Effects produced quickly
  • -Adverse Effects sleep difficulty, stomach
    aches, headaches, appetite reduction, drowsiness,
    irritability, nervousness, excessive starring.
    In rare case-nervous tics, hallucinations,
    bizarre behavior
