Objective Design and construct a boat powered
solely by solar energy, capable of
transporting one person, that can complete
one circuit around Lake Placida in minimal
time
Design Requirements
Our goals

• Completely solar powered
• Solar panel must be detachable
• Safely transport one person

• Hydrodynamic as possible
• Low surface area in water
• Lightweight
• Relatively cheap when compared to size and
  materials used
