INCEPTION

• In 2003, the Associate Vice President (AVP)
  for Student Success, Tracy Pierce, was tasked to
  develop online advising tools that would
  optimize our deployment of advisors and

PILOT PROJECT

• In June 2005, South Campus Advising Office was
  asked to pilot the new My Advisors student
  appointment and student information Portal.
• On November 23, 2005, My Advisors and the
  student appointment system was launched
  college-wide for academic advising.

• Is a student information rich environment.
• It is interactive and combines common sense
  functionality of point and click of your mouse.
• It interfaces with Orion to receive real time
  student information.
