violence.

The house where a six-year-old is growing and
being raised without his mother for more than
three years. The court has given custody to the
mother, but she cant see or caress her child

motherly care because of ineffective

First of June International Childrens Day
was designated the patrons holiday of the
foundation. Its first celebration was marked by a
visit to the historical site of Oborishte and the
traditional town of Koprivshtitsa.

The group visits on important holidays became a
tradition and serve to unite our team and to
offer mutual support.

Mother and daughter who had been separated for
two years, are together again thanks to the
efforts of our team. Now the child grows and
studies with the family of the mother, while the
fathers location is unknown. The foundation is
assisting the mother in the search for the other
parent.

Bulgaria. Two years on the childrens location is
still unknown to the family, their homeland and
their mother. She is not giving up and continues
to fight and search for them.

Our work for the peace and right upbringing of
children is based on their greatest need to
grow up with both their mother and their father
despite the parental separation. This fundamental
right is recognized and should be guaranteed by
the state of Bulgaria, as it has ratified in 1991
the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The publishing of the first yearbook - 2008
The risk for the child in cases of parental
separation ended the second year of the
foundation. This event allowed us to inform the
whole Bulgarian society about the road we took,
the experience we gained and the fate we shared.
