  • Location-Asia, Africa and Europe are closest to
    each other,
  • Area- It is the size of Texas and Louisiana
    combined. 814,578 sq kms.
  • Coastline- surrounded by sea on three sides
  • Regions- 7 regions
  • Cities- Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa and Ankara, and in
    the sound around Adana

  • The European and Asian sides are divided by the
    Istanbul Bogazi (Bosphorus), the Sea of Marmara,
    and the Canakkale Bogazi
  • The capital city is Ankara which is located in
    the center of the country.
