• Analysis of the RMS peaks revealed 3 major
  responses with similar distributions across
  subjects in the 100-450ms window at 150ms, at
  250ms and at 350ms .
• Of these three components, the latency of the
  M350 was affected by repetition. The other
  components showed no sensitivity to it.

? The latencies of the M350 reflect the
repetition priming effect seen in the reaction
times.

Is the M350 a lexical or a post-lexical response?

• If it reflects the post-lexical decision process,
  its latency should always reflect RTs.
• If it reflects automatic lexical activation, we
  should be able to manipulate post-lexical
  processes without affecting the M350 (Experiment
  2).
