    Electric Steam Generator. Now steam is available
    to you at the switching on of a button and in
    practically no time, without the headaches of
    smoke or any other form of pollution.
  • Hitze Equipments (I) Pvt. Ltd. is a company
    situated in Bangalore, solely committed to our
    customers to deliver heat transfer solutions
    which is highly user friendly, safe to operate,
    requires minimum space and also taking care of
    quality and safety aspects.
  • Hitze Electric Steam generator is the
    result of our endeavour for making a compact
    steam generator to provide low pressure steam
    for industrial and domestic application with
    maximum efficiency and minimum maintenance. We
    have developed this equipment keeping in mind a
    lot of parameters and varying customer
    requirements. It is particularly useful for
    applications were steam is required in a low
    volume and pressure and the area needs to be
    clean . The space required for installation is
    very less as the equipment is very compact and
    installation procedures are easy. Operating the
    equipment is very simple and can be done by
    following the instructions as given in the Owners
    Manual. The equipment is available in different
    models to suit varying customer requirement. The
    equipment is fully automatic and does not require
    a trained operator.

  • CONSUMPTION OF WATER BY RESPECTIVE STEAM BOILERS
  • The above consumption is based on the average out
    let pressure of 30 Psi. and 80 efficiency of
    heat transfer from heater element to water. It
    will be within plus or minus 10 depending on the
    input voltage to the steam generator.

General Description
  • Steam boiler is of robust construction with tank
    made out of 3 mm SS sheet with a cubic capacity
    of 17 Lit. and tested up to 5kgs/sqcm. (Working
    pressure within 2 kg/sqcm). A special electronic
    boiler controller card model BC-05 is provided
    in the control panel for controlling water level
    and heater along with the steam generator are
    housed in one single unit.
  • Two heaters with SS 304 elements are provided to
    get necessary wattage. Water level is maintained
    in the chamber by 3 sensors for minimum, low and
    high.
  • Maximum safety is obtained by having separate
    safety valve, pressure cut off switch and low
    water level cut off for heater.
  • Pressure cut off switch is set at 20 to 30 PSI to
    safeguard the steam unit.
  • The generator unit, water level sensor,
    electronic control unit and control for the
    heater are all housed in a single cabinet,
    however an external pump (optional supply) is
    provided where pressures are above ambient.
  • Controls in the Steam Generator Unit
  • 1. SS /Brass stop cock for Steam Outlet.
  • 2. SS/Brass Drain valve for backwash and service
    work.
  • 3. Water level indicator.
  • 4. Pressure cut off switch. (factory set at 20
    to 30 Psi.)
  • 5. Safety valve.(factory set at 50 Psi)
  • 6. Water inlet with solenoid valve.
  • 7. Feed water pump.(Optional)
  • 8. Digital Temperature Controller.
  • 9. External Timer Device.
  • Requirements for installation
  • 1. One continuous flow water connection with ½
    inch stop cock with a

General Working Principle
  • General Working Principle
  • Steam generator is a SS 304 tank with heaters,
    steam outlet, drain water inlet and pressure cut
    off system , water level sensor and water level
    indicator.
  • On Switching on the unit
  • 1. Keep the steam outlet open and switch on
    the main ON/OFF MCB.
  • Mains on indicator will light up
    and your boiler is started.
  • 2. Water inlet solenoid valve will open with a
    click sound. Also the
  • water inlet indicator will light
    up.
  • 3. Watch for the water level increase in the
    water level indicator.
  • 4. When the water level reaches to a preset
    level immersing the
  • heater elements, the heater
    elements will get switched on and
  • the indicator will light up.
  • 5. Water level will still raise to the preset
    maximum level and the
  • solenoid valve/feed pump
    controlling the water inlet will be
  • switched off.
  • 6. Initially the boiler will start delivering
    steam in 3 to 12 minutes with
  • a little water flow which is
    normal. Keep steam valve in half open
  • condition only during usage to
    avoid water flow along with steam.
  • 7. Hissing sound created by the steam flow and
    the water condensing
  • from steam is normal.

DOS AND DONTS
  • 1. Do not keep the drain valve open.
  • 2. Do not keep the steam valve closed.
  • 3. Do not allow any unauthorized personal to
    attend to faults.
  • 4. Never shut off the water supply.
  • 5. Switch off the steam generator when not
    needed.
  • 6. Never use hard water,salt water, or water
    containing minerals.
  • MAINTENANCE
  • In due course of usage, salt and minerals
    contained even in pure clean water will sediment
    inside the boiler and form thick scales. This
    will reduce the efficiency of heat transfer from
    the heaters. To reduce sedimentation it is
    advised to backwash / blow down the steam boiler
    once in a week depending on the usage.
  • Backwash Procedure
  • To be done by the user/ attendant
  • 1 Once a week after using the steam boiler,
    close the steam out let valve and let the
    pressure build up for an minute or so. Switch
    off the steam generator and open the drain valve.
    Water along with sediments and steam will gush
    out clearing 80 of the dirt and sediments
    inside.
  • After the flow stops, close the Drain valve and
    open the steam outlet. Now switch on the steam
    generator and watch for the water level increase
    and normal working of the unit.
  • GUARANTEE
  • The electric steam generator including the
    heating elements are guaranteed for a period of
    one year from the date of supply against any
    manufacturing defects. Please refer the guarantee
    card given along with the equipment for terms and
    conditions.
