I. PROCLAMATION Jesus Commanded..

• 1. WAIT for, then DEPEND upon the Holy Spirit.
• John 1416-17 And I will ask the Father, and he
  will give you another Counselor to be with you
  forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot
  accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows
  him. But you know him, for he lives with you and
  will be in you.
• Luke 2449 I am going to send you what my Father
  has promised but stay in the city until you have
  been clothed with power from on high."

Jesus Commanded...

• 2. Be my WITNESSES.
• Acts 18 But you will receive power when the Holy
  Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses
  in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and
  to the ends of the earth."

Jesus Commanded...

• 3. Go make DISCIPLES, Baptizing and Teaching
  them.
• Matthew 2818-20 Then Jesus came to them and
  said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has
  been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples
  of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
  Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
  teaching them to obey everything I have commanded
  you. And surely I am with you always, to the very
  end of the age."

II. POSITION Jesus is...

• 1. Highly EXALTED in Great Glory. (See Rev 4-5)
• Rev. 113-18 ...and among the lampstands was
  someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe
  reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash
  around his chest. His head and hair were white
  like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were
  like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze
  glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the
  sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he
  held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a
  sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the
  sun shining in all its brilliance. When I saw
  him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he
  placed his right hand on me and said "Do not be
  afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the
  Living One I was dead, and behold I am alive for
  ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and
  Hades.

Jesus is...

• 2. Seated at the FATHERS Right Hand.
• Hebrews 13 The Son is the radiance of God's
  glory and the exact representation of his being,
  sustaining all things by his powerful word. After
  he had provided purification for sins, he sat
  down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

The Exalted Jesus

• Rev. 511-13 Then I looked and heard the voice of
  many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands,
  and ten thousand times ten thousand. They
  encircled the throne and the living creatures and
  the elders. In a loud voice they sang "Worthy is
  the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and
  wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and
  glory and praise!" Then I heard every creature
  in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on
  the sea, and all that is in them, singing "To
  him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be
  praise and honor and glory and power, for ever
  and ever!"

Jesus is...

• 3. Making INTERCESSION for the Believers.
• 1 Tim. 25 For there is one God and one mediator
  between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
• 1 John 21 My dear children, I write this to you
  so that you will not sin. But if anybody does
  sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our
  defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

III. PROMISE Jesus Said...

• I will RETURN!
• Acts 111 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do
  you stand here looking into the sky? This same
  Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven,
  will come back in the same way you have seen him
  go into heaven."

Jesus Said...I Will Return!

• Matthew 2430 "At that time the sign of the Son
  of Man will appear in the sky, and all the
  nations of the earth will mourn. They will see
  the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky,
  with power and great glory.
• Rev. 2212 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward
  is with me, and I will give to everyone according
  to what he has done.
