• When the books of Daniel and Revelation are
  better understood, believers will have an
  entirely different religious experience. They
  will be given such glimpses of the open gates of
  heaven that heart and mind will be impressed with
  the character that all must develop in order to
  realize the blessedness which is to be the reward
  of the pure in heart. The Lord will bless all who
  will seek humbly and meekly to understand that
  which is revealed in the Revelation. This book
  contains so much that is large with immortality
  and full of glory that all who read and search it
  earnestly receive the blessing to those "that
  hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those
  things which are written therein." One thing will
  certainly be understood from the study of
  Revelation--that the connection between God and

• Laws enforcing the observance of Sunday as the
  Sabbath will bring about a national apostasy from
  the principles of republicanism upon which the
  government has been founded. The religion of the
  papacy will be accepted by the rulers, and the
  law of God will be made void.--7MR 192 (1906).
• When Protestant churches shall unite with the
  secular power to sustain a false religion, for
  opposing which their ancestors endured the
  fiercest persecution, then will the papal Sabbath
  be enforced by the combined authority of church
  and state. There will be a national apostasy,
  which will end only in national ruin.--Ev 235
  (1899).

interpreted this prophecy to the Islamic religion

• Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in
  their foreheads--it is not any seal or mark that
  can be seen, but a settling into the truth, both
  intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be
  moved--just as soon as God's people are sealed

• Numbers 1434 After the number of the days in
  which ye searched the land, even forty days,
  each day for a year, shall ye bear your
  iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know
  my breach of promise.
• Ezekiel 46 And when thou hast accomplished
  them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt
  bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty
  days I have appointed thee each day for a year.

• 1 Biblical year consisted of 360 days (from
  Genesis). 1 Biblical month 30 days
• Therefore 1 prophetic year 360 years.
• 5 month prophecy 5 x 30 days 150 days.
• Therefore time is 150 years.

Start date of Prophecy

• When did the 150 years start?
• According to the historian Edward Gibbon
  Othman first entered the territory of Nicomedia
  on the 27th July 1299.
• Started to attack Eastern Rome.
• Finished in 1449. (1299150 1449)
• One woe is past and behold, there come two more
  woes hereafter (Revelation 912)

• What happened in 1449?
• During the whole period the Othman Turks were
  engaged in perpetual war with the Greek Empire,
  but yet without conquering it.
• But in 1449 a change came signalling the end of
  the 1st Woe and the beginning of the 2nd Woe.

In the year 1448 John Paleologus, the Greek
emperor (Greece was part of Eastern Rome) died,
but left no children to inherit his throne, and
in 1449 Constatine Deacozes succeeded to it.

He however would not venture to ascend the throne
without the consent of Amurath The Turkish
Sultan. This was a voluntary surrender of the
sovereignty. By April 6th 1453, Constantinople
was besieged and Eastern Rome fell.

• And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and
  them that sat on them, having breastplates of
  fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone and the
  heads of the horses were as the heads of lions
  and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and

Islam wars against armies of Papal Rome

• The little horn in Daniel takes over in western
  Rome....the Papacy!

  Islam's wrath now becomes Papal Rome
• Papal Rome is weakened and distracted by its

Time Prophecy

• At the end of the 5th Trumpet the time
  prophecy starts. This date is 27th July 1449
• Josiah Litch predicted that the fall of the
  Ottoman Empire would happen sometime in August
  1840.
• Weeks before the date he then narrowed it to 11th
  August 1840

What happened in 1840?

• On the 11th of August 1840, on board a ship, the
  Turkish leader signed a paper that took away the
  independence and power of the Turkish Sultan
  forever. Where, then, was Turkish supremacy Aug.
  11, 1840? -- It was gone. Who now held the power?
  -- The four great Powers of Europe.
• Up until that time, they had continued to attack
  that eastern part of the Roman Empire until the
  last remains of it were gone and the modern
  nations ruled.
• This amazing prophecy was pointed out and written
  up in the newspapers before August 11,1840 and
  when it really happened on time, many people
  believed that Gods Word was true.

• The advent movement of 1840-44 was a glorious
  manifestation of the power of God the first
  angel's message was carried to every missionary
  station in the world, and in some countries there
  was the greatest religious interest which has
  been witnessed in any land since the Reformation
  of the sixteenth century but these are to be
  exceeded by the mighty movement under the last
  warning of the third angel. GC 611.1
• The work will be similar to that of the Day
  of Pentecost. As the "former rain" was given, in
  the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the opening
  of the gospel, to cause the upspringing of the
  precious seed, so the "latter rain" will be given
  at its close for the ripening of the harvest.
  "Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the
  Lord His going forth is prepared as the morning
  and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the
  latter and former rain unto the earth." Hosea
  63. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and
  rejoice in the Lord your God for He hath given
  you the former rain moderately, and He will cause
  to come down for you the rain, the former rain,
  and the latter rain." Joel 223. "In the last
  days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit
  upon all flesh." "And it shall come to pass, that
  whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord
  shall be saved." Acts 217, 21. GC 611.2
• The great work of the gospel is not to close
  with less manifestation of the power of God than
  marked its opening. The prophecies which were
  fulfilled in the outpouring of the former rain at
  the opening of the gospel are again to be
  fulfilled in the latter rain at its close. Here
  are "the times of refreshing" to which the
  apostle Peter looked forward when he said
  "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your
  sins may be blotted out, when the times of
  refreshing shall come from the presence of the
  Lord and He shall send Jesus." Acts 319, 20.

• The ark of his testament is seen in heaven
• Judgement begins
• Nations are angry then the wrath of God comes
  (Revelation 151, 161)
• Remember there is a woe attached to this trumpet
  (Revelation 813)

• Then Jesus will step out from between the Father
  and men, and God will keep silence no longer, but
  pour out His wrath on those who have rejected His
  truth. I saw that the anger of the nations, the
  wrath of God, and the time to judge the dead,
  were separate and distinct, one following the
  other also that Michael had not stood up, and
  that the time of trouble, such as never was, had
  not yet commenced. The nations are now getting
  angry, but when our High Priest has finished His
  work in the sanctuary, He will stand up, put on
  the garments of vengeance, and then the seven
  last plagues will be poured out. CET 100.2

• The Lord God is a jealous God yet He bears long
  with the sins and transgressions of His people in
  this generation. If the people of God had walked
  in His counsel, the work of God would have
  advanced, the messages of truth would have been
  borne to all people that dwell on the face of the
  whole earth. . . . But because the people are
  disobedient, unthankful, unholy, as were ancient
  Israel, time is prolonged that all may hear the
  last message of mercy proclaimed with a loud
  voice. The Lord's work has been hindered, the
  sealing time delayed. Many have not heard the
  truth. But the Lord will give them a chance to
  hear and be converted. FLB 288.2
• What are you doing . . . in the great work
  of preparation? Those who are uniting with the
  world are receiving the worldly mold and
  preparing for the mark of the beast. Those who
  are distrustful of self, who are humbling
  themselves before God and purifying their souls
  by obeying the truth--these are receiving the
  heavenly mold and preparing for the seal of God
  in their foreheads. When the decree goes forth
  and the stamp is impressed, their character will
  remain pure and spotless for eternity. Now is the
  time to prepare. The seal of God will never be
  placed upon the forehead of an impure man or
  woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead
  of the ambitious, world-loving man or woman. It
  will never be placed upon the forehead of men or
  women of false tongues or deceitful hearts. All
  who receive the seal must be without spot before
  God--candidates for heaven. FLB 288.3
• Every individual soul, if he would receive
  the seal of the living God, must hear the Word of
  the Lord, and do it with exactitude. There must
  be no such thing as haphazard religion if men
  would have a place in the family of God. FLB

• Now is the time, while the four angels are
  holding the four winds, to make our calling and
  election sure.
