original designs by using the blank option.

14
Youve Probably noticed by now
  • That all of the information on my slides does not
    appear at the same time.
  • If it did there would be mass confusion as some
of you would read ahead and get really confused
  • You can control it so each bullets or items

gives you a view of your printed material.
  • The 4 rectangles is your slide sorter view.

17
  • The rectangle with lines underneath is your notes
    view
  • The icon furthest right is your slide show view -

  • You can look at your options by going through the
    menus and selecting them.

25
  • You can apply a transition or effect to one slide
    or all.
  • Go to slide show and view the effect.
  • If you are not satisfied with the results, go
    back and repeat the steps.
  • You always have the flexibility of changing your
    slides or your presentation.
  • Most of that is done through the slide sorter
    view.

insert a photo, graphic or clipart.

  • Heres one of my favorite
  • clips!

Moving Objects from foreground to background

of clip art behind the printing
  • Insert the graphic into one of your slides that
    has writing in it.
  • click on the graphic again
  • click on Draw in the lower left corner

Keep your eye on this man!
34
The Draw Menu
  • The graphic you pasted into your slide should
    obliterate the writing
  • You have many options but for now go to order.
Select Send to Back while you have the graphic
    highlighted.
  • Notice that the man here is blocking the words
  • But now he is behind the words

35
It is tricky!
  • It is always tricky with color and color on your
slides to have the reading legible with graphics
    in the background.
  • You need to alter the text color or reposition
    the graphic.
  • In order to change the text color - highlight
what you want to change - then click on the
bottom toolbar where the letter A is

36
Changing Text Color
  • When you click on the A you get options of
colors. You can select a color that might go
    better with your graphic.
  • Most of the time it would be easier to use a
slide format that would let you put the graphic
    to the side!

37
Changing Background color!
  • You can change the color of your background by
going to the Format Menu and selecting
    Background
  • This box will appear
  • The drop down menu
  • gives you more choices

Adding video
  • Of course you can add video clips to your
    presentation
  • A word of caution - video take up an enormous
amount of memory - it makes your presentations
    much less portable
  • Use the digital camera to take stills or a short
    movie
  • Take your disk from the camera, insert it into
the computer, click on Insert Movie from the and
    select the A Drive
  • Double click on the movie

40
That will add it to the presentation.
  • This however will only run it from the floppy
    disk - not good.
  • You should save the file to the space on your G
Drive. You will then be able to access is from
    any computer on the network.

41
Downloading Video or Audio
  • You should always save the file you are
downloading to your hardrive or network space
  • I set up a folder titled Net Downloads so
anything I download from the Internet goes there
    - that way I dont spend extra time searching
  • Once you have a video clip select a slide format
that allows you to enter a video
