The History of SLI

History

• In 1997, a pastor and two church members began
  meeting weekly for accountability and
  re-discovered a team approach to ministry

Each one should use whatever gift he has
received to serve others, faithfully
administering Gods grace in it various forms.

History!

• In June 2000, SLI was incorporated hired its
  first staff member, with a hope to join God in
  Kingdom work.
• What we Found!
• The Church in America was not what God was
  dreaming
• Overworked, burned-out pastors
• Dying churches
• Pastors struggling to turn the church around
• Lay people with spiritual gifts, but no idea how
  to help the pastor or the church
• The church not impacting todays society

• From 2000-2003 SLI began to work on various
  initiatives and began learning what it takes to
  make a difference in the life of local church
• In the spring of 2003 SLI heard the call to
  create a church revolution to change the World
  for Christ and began to reinvent the organization
  to increase its influence.
