are still bound by divine law!
Many conveniently forget that divorce people are
still under the constraints of divine law!
Ex. Duet. 241-4
She could marry whomever she wanted,
but not this man! Lev. 217
Why not? Because God said so!

This passage helps us understand Gods law,
1 Cor 71-2, Now concerning the
things about which you wrote, it is good for a
man not to touch a woman. But because of
immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and
let each woman have her own husband.
To whom will we apply vs. 10, 11?

What about 1 Corinthians 712-14?
Some call this the Pauline liberty
1 Cor 712-14, But to the rest I
say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife
who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live
with him, let him not send her away. And a woman
who has an unbelieving husband, and he consents
to live with her, let her not send her husband
away. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified
through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is
sanctified through her believing husband for
otherwise your children are unclean, but now they
are holy.

2 For the married woman is bound by law
to her husband while he is living but if her
husband dies, she is released from the law
concerning the husband.

3 So then if, while
her husband is living, she is joined to another
man, she shall be called an adulteress but if
her husband dies, she is free from the law, so
that she is not an adulteress, though she is
joined to another man.
Here the Bible tells us so!

not to dissolve commitments.
If our marriage was unlawful before our
baptism, we would have been required to
end that unlawful marriage!
But some say, the Bible no where
teaches that!
