The intention to co-locate Cheadle Hulme High
School and Cheadle Marple Sixth Form College
is exciting for students and their families in
Stockport. The opportunity to provide a wide
range of attractive curriculum choices and give
real life to the 14-19 agenda should be eagerly
grasped. Dame Sandra Burslem Vice-Chancellor
MMU Deputy Chair of the National LSC

The move to new premises would provide a unique
opportunity for a purpose-built school.The
existing school site involves students making
long journey between lessons, and the building
requires significant investment and renovation.
As I understand it the 14-19 curriculum will
provide courses not traditionally delivered by
schools. Mike Rivett Parent
