• Uniform vertical electric field 5kV/m ( 500V)
  can suppress e-cloud in KEKB LER
• It does work but not so perfect, especially for
  long proton bunch
• Complicate mechanical design and it may
  contribute to the machine impedance
• It is difficult to apply it for long distance
