• Similar to PRK, but saving the epithelium
• After peeling off the epithelium(50?m), LASER
  vision correction. Repositioned the saved
  epithelium after LASER treatment. Protect the
  epithelium with contact lens for 3-5 days until
  the reattachment.
• Visual recovery is similar to LASIK, but slightly
  delayed for 1 week
• Mild discomfort for 1-2 days not likely PRK

After LASEK

• For 3-5 days Until the removal of SCL
• Antibiotic eye drops
• Clear plastic shields while sleeping
• For 2 weeks
• No swimming
• No heavy exercise
• Preservative free artificial tears every 1 hour
• For 3 months
• Low dose steroid eye drops
• Minimum fluctuation of vision is expected
• Stabilizing the vision (6 months for hyperopic
  correction)
