1 Samuel 12-11, 19
Disgrace by no children.
Provoked by her rival wife.
Broken-hearted and felt alone.
Husband loved her and gave double-portions.
The Lord remembered her.

2. Samson
Judges 1628 - Then Samson prayed to the LORD, "O
Sovereign LORD, remember me. O God, please
strengthen me just once more, and let me with one
blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two
eyes."
A Nazarite like Jesus.
Mighty warrior and leader to Israel for 20 years.
Fell to deception by not keeping the promises of
God.

3. Naaman
2 Kings 51, 6-14 - Now Naaman was commander of
the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man
in the sight of his master and highly regarded,
because through him the LORD had given victory to
Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had
leprosy.
A confident, valiant soldier. Highly regarded.
Had Leprosy and Elisha sent for him.
Naaman was angered because the remedy did not
meet his expectations.

Psalms 23 - The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not
be in want. He makes me lie down in green
pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he
restores my soul. He guides me in paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I
will fear no evil, for you are with me your rod
and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a
table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the
days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of
the LORD forever.
Mighty king and brave soldier.
Experienced restoration to God first-hand many
times.

Psalms 5110-12 - Create in me a pure heart, O
God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do
not cast me from your presence or take your Holy
Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your
salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to
sustain me.

5. Blind Man
Mark 822-25 - They came to Bethsaida, and some
people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to
touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and
led him outside the village. When he had spit on
the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus
asked, "Do you see anything?" He looked up and
said, "I see people they look like trees walking
around. Once more Jesus put his hands on the
man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight
was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

5. Blind Man
Faith of his friends brought him to Jesus.
Was led by Jesus.
One touch from Jesus left his vision blurred.
Another touch from Jesus made his vision clear.
