• Kennedy went to the Choate School, a private
  school in Connecticut.
• He Went to Princeton for a semester and was
  quickly left due to contracting jaundice.
• Finished college at Harvard and received mainly
  Bs and Cs.
• Enrolled in the Army, and did not get in, so he
  went to the Navy.

Early Political Life

• JFK became the mayor of Boston in 1946.
• Was reelected for that position twice but had a
  very mixed voting record.
• In 1952 Kennedy ran for Senate.
• He became one of the Massachusetts Senate
  representatives later that year.

• Inaugurated in 1961, Kennedy said the famous
  quote, ask not what your country can do for you,
  ask what you can do for your country.

  helped in protests and other productive things.
• Kennedy was big on beating Russia to space, and
  to the moon in the space race.
• JFK created the Peace Corps- a foundation based
  on helping 3rd world countries.
• Kennedy created a program that helped in the
  education and health of elders.
• Kennedy Won a Purple heart- a renowned reward for
  great soldiers (WWII)
