Direct Object Pronouns

• To find the D.O. of a sentence, who? or what?
  the verb.
• - Vas a escuchar la radio?
• - Sí, (la) voy a escuchar(la).
• -Estás leyendo el periódico?
• - Sí, (lo) estoy leyéndo(lo) ahorita.
• - Cierra la puerta y la ventana por favor.
• - Las cierro ahorita.

Indirect Object Pronouns

• To find the I.O. of a sentence, to whom? or for
  whom? the verb.
• - Clara nos habla. (Clara is speaking to
  whom? To us.)
• -Me gusta la pizza. (The pizza is pleasing to
  whom? To me.)
• -Nunca les escribo cartas a mis abuelos.
• (I never write letters to whom? Mis abuelos)
• - Les busco los libros? (Should I look for
  the books for whom? For them.

• 1. When two object pronouns occur in a sentence
  together, the I.O. pronoun always comes first.

• - Ella me la explica. (She is explaining
  what? To whom?)
• I.O.p.

• - Juanita nos las muestra. (Juanita is
  showing what? To whom?)
• - Vas a escribirme una carta? (Are you
  going to write what? / To whom?)

• - Sí te la voy a escribir pronto. (I am
  going to write what? To whom?)

• 2. In sentences with two object pronouns, when
  both pronouns begin with the letter L, the
  first one (le/les) becomes se you dont le
  lo.
• - Me va a servir la limonada?
• - Sí, le se la voy a servir ahora. (se is
  taking the place of usted.)
• - Nos vas a llevar la información el jueves?
• - Sí, les se la voy a llevar el jueves. (se
  is taking the place of ustedes.)
