Got to start at home with self - Integrity

• ("Preach the Gospel and when necessary use
  words")
• Preaching puts you in the spot light
• If we do not walk our talk we
• set bad examples
• can do a lot of damage in discouraging others
• give truth a bad name
• could close the door(s) for others for future
  preaching

It is a safeguard to keep us busy with God's work
and from falling away

• Build faith
• Constant confirmation
• Constant proof and new angles
• Foundations enlarged
• Do we really cherish something (see it as a pearl
  of great price) if we are not promoting it?
• Out in open - then more motivated to live what
  you preach - walk the talk

How will they hear without a preacher

• The word - heard converts IF the ground is good
• Rom 10
• Good ground may only prove to be so later
• Don't judge

• Numbers (number of baptisms - the criteria ?)
• Use as CRITERIA to measure/monitor
  activity/involvement and effectiveness
• Not the motivation - i.e as baptisms
• Also NOT the de-motivation - as in SPREADING the
  word
• We just have to spread the word / seed
• not to convert any
• Sowers
• God gives the increase but we HAVE to till the
  ground!!!!
• What 4 elements needed for harvest / increase
• Good ground / Seed / Tiller to till / Rain
• Who owns these 4 elements? God

• Positive sharing of what we fully believe in
• Dust off our feet if people do not want to
  listen or hostile
• Nothing to lose

As spiritual leaders we should constantly look
for ways to ....

• Increase preaching
• Improve preaching
• Find creative effective ways
• If we are just doing things for doing sake
  without being effective - is their really any
  sense in doing so?
• Keep preaching high on priority list
• Keep it interesting and rewarding
• Involve as many as possible on the grounds of
  their abilities
• Set good example
• Set own targets
• Bigger scale projects
• In terms of time
• In terms of demographics
