Value addition.. examples
  • SARITA generating gt20 additional revenues for
    Government and gt20 crores from transaction
    revenues every year with turn around time of 30
    minutes for citizens
  • IGR Norm- Create one office of Asst
    RegistrarClerkpeon for each increase of 50
    registrations per day. Currently each set is
    taking load of 60-80 registrations per day at
    65-70 locations saving 14,00,000 per month.
  • Treasury Norm- 730 pensioners, one clerk. Due to
    computerisation each clerk is able to take load
    of 2000 pensioners and department has surrendered
    220 posts saving 1320000/- per month.
  • PWD 50 saving in telephone cost across the
    state.

Setu
  • Setu is a two tier society operating the front
    ends of different government departments like
    Collectorate, Panchayat, Revenue, Excise,
    Municipal Bodies, Mantralaya, etc.
  • i-Setu Integrated Setu delivering citizen
    services of all the departments from a single
    common walk in counter is being piloted in Mumbai
    city
  • Money generated from transaction fee is planned
    to be reinvested to automate and integrate more
    and more backend

  • Setu centers at all the District Collectorates,
    225 Tahsil offices, 5 Municipal Bodies, one Zilla
    Parishad and some Gram Panchayats
  • 3 million transactions every year and generation
    of about 15 lac mandays
  • Total number of Setu Centers expected to cross
    1000 by March 2004
