One day Jesus was teaching in a home the
Pharisees the religious leaders were setting
all around. Theyd come from nearly every village
in Galilee in Judea even as far away as
Jerusalem to be there. Then some men arrived
carrying a paraplegic man on a stretcher. They
looked for a way to get into the house set him
before Jesus. When they couldnt find a way in
because of the crowd they went up on the roof,
removed some tile let him down in the middle of
everyone, right in front of Jesus. Impressed by
their bold belief Jesus says, Friend, I forgive
your sins. That set the religious scholars
Pharisees off. Who does He think He is? Thats
blasphemous talk. God only God can forgive
sins. Luke 517-21

Jesus knew exactly what they were thinking. He
said, Well, just so its clear that Im the Son
of Man Im authorized to do this, He now spoke
directly to the paraplegic. Get up, take up your
bed role and go home. Without a moments
hesitation he did it. He got up, he took his
blanket he left for home giving glory to God
all the way. And the people rubbed their eyes,
incredulous, then they also gave glory to God.
Awestruck they said, Weve never seen anything
